Klaskin’s philosophy. Her practice is dedicated to
guiding people through divorce and difficult family
conflicts with privacy, respect and civility, to achieve
the best result for the children and the family. With
over 17 years of family law experience, she has seen the
harm that is often caused by, and the court battles that
can accompany, traditional litigation. In response she
has limited her practice solely to collaborative law and
mediation. She has extensive training in these
specialized fields of law. She is a founding member of
Divorce Solutions of Connecticut and currently serves as
its president. Additionally, she has served as a Special
Master in the New Haven Superior Court, conducting
settlement conferences involving family law litigants.
