I work with divorcing couples who aren’t looking for a one-size-fits-all divorce. They have built a family and a life together, and while they are in conflict and realize its time for a divorce, they don’t want to lose everything they have created. They want to have the tools to get them through the fighting and rough times so they can make decisions about money, kids and their future. They don’t want their family’s future decided by a judge.

As a collaborative attorney and mediator, I don’t take control and tell people what to do. I walk with them and help them see clearly and make better decisions. When they are stuck I help find alternative solutions that will serve them for a lifetime, rather than simply reacting out of pain or fear.

I’ve spent over ten years as an attorney, seeing first hand how litigation and adversarial divorce can hurt families. I have also seen some creative solutions that have helped couples and children move forward. I use this experience to help families find alternative solutions that allow them to thrive after divorce.
